泰国为佛邦，全国人口6000多万，95%的人信奉佛教。华人占全国人口的12%，曼谷的人口有40%是华人。
《泰国行》序
为发展泰中两国间的文化交流和友好合作，弘扬中国传统堪舆学经典知识，八十高龄的李定信先生应泰国中华总商会主席郑明如、泰国泰中艺术家联合会会长蔡义批、泰国泰中经济贸易交流中心名誉总裁李桂雄、泰国工商总会主席郑继烈、泰国商联总会主席吴诚等侨领之邀，于2000年3月23日至5月7日，2000年7月10日至9月5日和2001年3月至5月先后三次访问了泰国。都受到他们及其他侨领的热烈欢迎和热情周到的接待。在泰期间，李老先生以杨益（杨救贫）风水学嫡传首席学者的身份参加了"泰国赣南杨益（杨救贫）文化研究会""泰中勘舆学术
交流会"等学术活动，在会上先后作了既精辟，又精彩的学术报告，并亲自参与、指导了泰国华侨的一些阴阳宅的选址、勘察和布局。还应邀对泰国皇宫的新布局进行了勘察，设计和指导，对皇座亲自进行了校正。泰国华侨新近捐赠给王室的一座观音菩萨雕塑，这座雕塑是2.8米高的整块檀香木雕塑而成的。为供奉这座观世音菩萨，需建一座庙宇。李老应邀对拟新建庙宇的两个地址进行了勘察和比较，提出了让泰王室成员及侨领们赞叹的高见。这些活动，赢得了王室成员、泰国政野要人、侨界领袖及社会名流的广泛好评。为增进泰中友谊和泰国曼谷华侨和赣南客家人的亲情，让泰国人了解中国，了解风水发祥地--中国赣州，起了很好的促进作用。

Thailand has long been a nation of
Buddhism. Its total population amounts to more than 60,000,000,
among which ninety-five percent embraces Buddhism. In addition,
the number of the overseas Chinese takes about 12 percent of the
total population, and in Bangkok 40 percent.
Preface to A Visit to Thailand
To elevate the friendship
and advance the intercourses of the two nations, to impart the classic
knowledge associated with Chinese investigation and surveying science,
Mr. Li DinXin visited Thailand from Mar. 23, 2000 to May 7, 2000,
with the invitation of ZhengMingRu, chairman of Chinese Business
Association Bankok, Thailand, Cai YiPi, director of Thailand-Sino
Artist Association, Li GuiXiong, honor director of Thailand-Sino
Trade and Business Exchange Center, ZhengJilie, chairman of Thailand
Industry and Business Association. . Mr. Li was warmly welcomed
and entertained by those leaders and the overseas Chinese. With
his staying in Thailand, Mr. Li took part in such activities as
South Jiangxi Yangyi Culture Research Seminar and Congress on Investigation
and Surveying between Thailand and China. Mr. Li presented a pointed
and magnificent lecture to all and had the on-the-spot mapping and
surveying for the masculine and positive site choosing.. He redesign
and instructed the overall arrangement of the Thailand Imperial
Palace, adjusted the imperial seat and subscribed a statue of Kwan-yin
Bodhisattva to the Thailand Royal, which is made of sandalwood and
2.8 meters in height. With regard to the oblation of the statue,
Master Li compared two newly-chosen sites to build the temple and
his ideas were highly appreciated by the Thailand Royal and overseas
Chinese. His staying and participation in those activities won the
praise from all walks of life in Thailand, including the Thailand
Royal members, leaders of the government and the public and the
distinguished celebrities. It advocates the understanding and affection
between the two nations, between Thailand people Hakka in South
Jiangxi.
